Our Mission:

To provide quality services that maintains and improves the health of individuals and families.

We currently have several residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Cedar Village long term care.  Our COVID committee, in consultation with the Ness County Health Department, and following CDC, CMS and KDADS guidelines, has placed them in isolation.  We are treating them with full precautions to keep all residents and staff as safe as possible.  We have no visitation in our facility until further notice.

COVID-19 Testing...

- Requires a Physician's Order for test

- Supplies are limited at this time

- Cost for the test is $125.00 (Cash Price)

I am sorry for the seemingly irregular/spasmodic visitation plans here at NCH.  We certainly understand that connection with family and friends is of great importance to the health and well-being of our residents/patients.  Not only are we required to follow CMS (Medicare/Medicaid) requirements on possible cases and restrictions, we are attempting to strike a balance between  protecting our residents/patients while still allowing as much visitation as possible.  At any point in time that we believe there is significant risk of exposure to COVID-19 for our residents/patients, we will act by adjusting visitation for as long as necessary to protect them.  The alternative to this is to either restrict visitation even more severely or increase the risk of exposure to COVID—neither of which I am prepared to do at this time.

I know this is a very difficult time for everyone and we really appreciate your understanding and cooperation.  Thank you.
