CURRENT NURSING POSITIONS

Job Summary:

Assess the needs and priorities of patients and makes appropriate patient assignments to ensure a high level of care. Renders professional nursing services in the treatment and care of assigned patients in accordance with physicians orders. Provides for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing condition, providing treatments and administering prescribed drugs and documenting progress and other observations. Coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team and personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Performs routine patient care services under supervision of a registered nurse within licensure limitations.

Must complete training in the following areas; basic review of body systems and drug effects on each, medical terminology, drug classifications, dosage, measurements and forms, storage and accountability, problems of observations in drug therapy.

Assists professional nursing staff by performing basic resident care activities and related non-professional services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the resident. 

CURRENT ADMINISTRATION / MANAGEMENT POSITIONS

Job Summary:

Administers and directs all functions of the facility. Assigns department heads and delegates appropriately work throughout the facility to such individuals. Informs the Board of Directors and Foundation Board appropriately of functions within the facility and reports at least on a monthly basis. Responsible for the oversight of functions throughout the facility.

Job Summary:

The Director of Nursing (DON directs all hospital nursing services concerned with the care of patients. Plans the nursing services needed to achieve the objective of the hospital. Is responsible for maintaining such service in accordance with accepted standards. Duties includes evaluating and directing all hospital nursing employees, establishing goals for the nursing services departments, and creating and enforcing compliant healthcare policies.

CURRENT CLERICAL POSITIONS

Job Summary:

This person will work at the reception desk answering phone calls, scheduling patients, taking complete and accurate messages, checking patients in and out, verifying insurance, prior authorizations, preparing deposits completely and accurately, collection calls, scanning, compiling medical records requests and other duties as assigned.
